When you hear the word adventure, what comes into your mind first? Well, some would think of big waves and a high rocky mountain, some would think of travel, but most of the time, people think it is all about extreme stuff to do. You can go mountain climbing, or surf through the big waves of the oceans, or maybe try some skydiving.
Speaking of extreme, if you're looking for an adrenaline rush, South Africa is a perfect choice for you. This country is a home for wild animals, it occupies a large area of grasslands where the animals can safely and freely wander and live. South Africa is great for someone who really likes to explore and discover new things. It is marked by several distinct ecosystems. South Africa's coasts are major tourist attractions and trade locations. Its warm subtropical weather is great for those who wants their bodies to be laid under the sun.
South Africa has many attractions for you to go to. First of all, the beaches that this country offers are fantastic for surfing, diving and driving through the coastal roads. Some examples of South African beaches attractions are found in Port St. Johns, Salt Rock, Kelso KwaZulu-Natal, Hibberdene, Britannia Bay, Umdloti, Witsand, Gonubie, Gordon's Bay, Mossel Bay and so much more. If you are interested in wines or winemaking, you should go to South Africa's vineyards. Some vineyards that this country has can be found in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Vineyards aren't just producing wines, but also raisins and non-alcoholic grape juices. If you are into mountain biking and hiking try going to Prince Albert, Swellendam, Tsitsikamma National Park, Clarens and Magaliesburg.
If you prefer the very well-known destinations in South Africa which are safaris and game reserves, there are lots of places to pick from. First on the list is the most popular, the Kruger National Park. It is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. Rhinos, buffalos, lions, elephants and leopards are the top 5 high density of wild animals that the Kruger National Park includes. St Lucia KwaZulu-Natal, Oudtshoorn, Plettenberg Bay, Upington, Hoedspruit, Limpopo are also some of the choices included in safaris and game reserves. Mossel Bay and Magaliesburg are also included although they are already in beaches and vineyards. South Africa also experiences winter, where you can take skiing in some places, specifically mountains.
